Disclosure: We are a foster based rescue located in Faribault, Minnesota and we are all unpaid volunteers. We have a facility that holds our cats and the dogs are placed in loving foster homes.
*Processing your application may take 1 to 3 business days before we are able to forward it to the foster provider. If we need more information, we will contact you.
***Please do not call or email to inquire about your application status until 5 business days have passed (after the submission of your application). Many of our dogs are mixed breeds. Our volunteers, the shelter staff they may have come from and a veterinarian all might have different opinions on breed. We make our best guess, but we CANNOT make guarantees on breeds.
Meeting one of our adoptable animals does not guarantee adoption. We may receive multiple applications for the same animal and must make a determination on what home is best for each pet. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes we have to turn down great people for adoption. - Please don't take that personally!
RESCUE 55021 adopts animals outside of Faribault, however, if you are unable to come to us to meet and pick up the animal, then we are unable to approve your adoption request. We will also require a home visit and will do what we can to accommodate out of town applicants as best we can. RESCUE 55021 does not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up to date on shots or unaltered. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons, as stated by a veterinarian.
